YeChiu Group's engagement in the recycling aluminum industry is an environmentally friendly sector. For every 1 ton of recycled aluminum produced, it conserves 5 tons of bauxite, saves 1.2 tons of limestone, 22 tons of water, and reduces energy consumption by over 95% compared to primary aluminum production. Additionally, for every ton of recycled aluminum produced, it results in a reduction of approximately 0.8 tons of carbon dioxide, 0.06 tons of sulfur dioxide, and eliminates emissions of fluorine and red mud. Waste emissions are reduced by over 95% compared to primary aluminum production, and the greenhouse gas emissions per unit of product are just 5% of those in primary aluminum production. Furthermore, it falls under the category of projects encouraged by the government.

The group has established a comprehensive environmental management infrastructure. The Chinese subsidiary has a rainwater collection tank with a total capacity of 3600m3 and a domestic wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 900 tons per day. After treating and partially reusing rainwater and domestic wastewater, it results in annual savings of 29,851 tons of fresh water usage. Additionally, there is a reduction in annual wastewater discharge by 14,033 tons, a decrease of 34.06 tons in COD, 18.25 tons in suspended solids, 2.45 tons in ammonia nitrogen, and 0.25 tons in total phosphorus. The reduction rate of suspended solids is over 95%, and total phosphorus is approaching a zero discharge target.
Regarding air emissions control, the Chinese subsidiary has installed six sets of air treatment systems, including three electrostatic precipitators, two wet scrubbers, and one bag filter system. These systems achieve a dust capture rate of over 95.5%, with electrostatic precipitators achieving a dust capture rate of over 98%. This has resulted in an annual reduction in air emissions of 2,060 tons.
